حضرت آیت الله خامنه‌ای رهبر معظم انقلاب اسلامی در پی حوادث تلخ و دردناک شهادت دهها نفر از زائران حضرت سیدالشهداء علیه‌السلام در عراق و همچنین جان‌باختن و آسیب‌دیدگی جمعی از مسافران و زائران حضرت امام رضا علیه‌السلام، در پیامی ضمن طلب رحمت و مغفرت الهی برای درگذشتگان و دعا برای شفای آسیب‌دیدگان، تأکید کردند: مسئولان از این حوادث دردناک به آسانی عبور نکنند و دغدغه‌ی حلّ ریشه‌ئی این مصائب و امثال آن از مسائل مردم را در صدر اولویت‌های خود قرار دهند.

بسم الله الرّحمن الرّحیم

حادثه‌ی تلخ و اندوهبار شهادت دهها نفر از زوّار ایرانی و غیر ایرانی حضرت سیدالشهداء علیه‌السلام در عراق و نیز حادثه‌ی دردناک تصادف قطار که به جان‌باختن و آسیب‌دیدگی جمعی از مسافران و زوّار حضرت ابی‌الحسن‌الرضا علیه‌السلام انجامید، اینجانب را همچون دیگر هم‌میهنان و خانواده‌های عزادار، مصیبت‌زده کرد.

در حادثه‌ی اول، گروههای جنایتکار و شقاوت‌بار تکفیری که راه‌پیمائی عظیم اربعین و امنیت بی‌نظیر زائران حسینی، چشم آنان را کور و توطئه‌های خباثت‌آلود آنان را خنثی کرده است، به انتقام بزدلانه و فجیع دست زدند و بار دیگر چهره‌ی خبیث و مَنیّت پلید خود را به همه نشان دادند. از مناطق دیگر جهان همچون نیجریه و پاکستان و افغانستان نیز خبرهای تلخ و تکان‌دهنده از جنایات هم‌مسلکان آنها می‌رسد و خطر جریان تکفیری و دولت‌های حامی آنان را بار دیگر به همه‌ی مسلمانان و دلسوزان گوشزد می‌کند.

در حادثه‌ی دوم نیز قصور یا تقصیر و بی‌تدبیری دست‌اندرکاران خانواده‌هائی را داغدار کرد و موجب جان‌باختن و آسیب‌دیدگی جمعی از مردم عزیزمان شد.
